a website enhanced

Things have been developing in the virtual darkroom at jeffreymorrisphotography.com. If I did my job right, you may not notice the changes at first—you may even be underwhelmed (a seamless transition was my goal). But upon further examination you may bemenugin to notice the many enhancements to the public website and new features that provide clients a coordinated, streamlined process to review and select their images. Let’s take a closer look.

First, notice the new items in the menu, my cart and my account. These are the two most significant new functions–the ability to order prints and digital image download, and a private area in which clients and I can work together to select, revise and finish the images from their shoot. But there are many more new and enhanced features, as outlined below.

Bigger, Sharper Images that reveal more of the critical details and vibrancy that I worked hard to achieve. The only thing better is a print.proprints

Prints & Downloads are now available for all images in the Prints collections, and for many other photos. (To reduce  distractions from icons and buttons, these options are hidden from the portfolio and featured gallery views, but are always available in their thumbnail  and full-screen view). Want it cropped differently or on canvas, a greeting card, a mug or your Aunt Jinny? Request a quotation (at the bottom of the product selection pop-up) and I will get back to you asap (you will need Aunt Jinny’s authorization first).

More Images (and easier to find). In addition to those highlighted in the featured galleries and my representative portfolio, you can now find all the images from my blog posts and many other images from my stock and art portfolios. From the portfolio menu select browse all image galleries or, to see just what’s new, latest additions. From many galleries, you can also search for images depicting art or music or figure studies or pretty much anything else.

Lightboxes. Thinking about ordering a few images or requesting a use agreement but want input from others? Just want share your selection of pics from an event? Can do. Just create an account, add images to a lightbox, and share it with anyone you want–they will be sent a link to your carefully curated lightbox.

Client Area. After a shoot, your proofs will be available in your private area. You can rate each image, ask a question or request a revision to it. If you want, the area can be shared with one or two others for their comments, or you can share a lightbox with a wider group for input. After revisions are made, you select the ones you want, download digital copies and/or order prints. Simple, streamlined and coordinated communications throughout.

Event Galleries for you to share with your guests or on social media. At your option, guests will be able to order downloads and/or prints (perfect for fundraisers).

There are many other changes that you might find throughout the website. As always, I am always interested in your input, so please let me know of anything that you find distracting, difficult, or just could be improved. Drop me a note.
