A lyric from one of my songs suggests that you “Stop and take a look at what’s around you, it will astound you.” True, although sometimes you have to look very, very closely.

These images were shot yesterday in a very small community garden directly across the street from my house. Passing by, it currently looks fairly brown, dry and well past its seasonal peek. But get up close (and I mean very close) and everything changes. “Take a moment to truly know it, before your life goes passing by.”
