Whenever work or play allows me to spend some time at my “west coast office”, I always make sure to shoot at the Venice Beach Skate Park–renowned for it’s beautiful design that ties in with the spectacular surrounding, as well as for the high level of skating by skaters of all ages. Skate culture met high culture at Washington’s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Running through 13 Sep 2015, the Kennedy Center’s Finding A Line explores the intersection of the skate subculture with music, art and media. It includes orchestral works, exhibitions, stage plays and, of course, skating in a park custom built for the event in the front plaza. Continue reading
